i've got a secret
And not just any 'ol secret...the secret. And I'm even gonna share it with you for free.
The Secret is the Law of Attraction. Yeah, that's right...Attraction. Whatever's been happening in your life, you're attracting (hmmmmmm...I want to go stand next to Sue and Bob).
I think I could express that better, except I didn't start taking notes until Part 2, and I'm just going by memory for the Law of Attraction. It has something to do with what you're thinking and feeling. So, if you're thinking negative thoughts, negative things will come your way. Ummmmm...guess I'll have to rewatch it.
In the meanwhile, here are some gems from The Secret:
- Whatever you're thinking and feeling today is creating your future.
- A simple shifting of your emotions can change your day and entire life.
- If you're down, change your emotion by putting on some beautiful music (or force your pet to do something funny to make you laugh).
- There are 3 steps in the creative process: Ask, Believe, and Receive
- Keep focused on what you want and do things that make it seem like it'll become a reality (test drive that car you want, go shop for that new home).
- Do whatever you can to get that feeling. Then you may be inspired into some action to take that'll make it become a reality.
- Don't delay. Don't second guess. Don't doubt.
- When the impulse is there, ACT...that's your job.
I'm sure there are other pearls of wisdom; I just haven't finished watching it yet :)
p.s.,
Thank you Migsy Mom for the DVD.

Vegas Trip
Just in case anyone is interested (Texasgal??? Migsy's Mom???), we will be in Vegas this weekend. I know, I know, I know......where have we been.....and now we are asking if anyone can meet us in Vegas. We figured that since I hit 5 of a kind ($1,000) and then the old man hit a flush on Let it Ride ($1,200)......and it was actually almost a straight flush, if only that damned 4 of hearts came up it would have paid $30,000; we have enough to gamble big in Vegas. Nothing much else happening...oh yeh, except for the old man's knee problems and then the back problem - herniated disk & 2 bulging disks. Even though he is getting better each day, he is supposed to be getting an epidoral pain blocker sometime soon (he thinks he's having a baby).
Hey Jimmy's mom - you know that CT is a little too cold for me. You'll have to let us know when it gets above 60 degrees there, and after I go visit Texasgal (for the 1st time), we'll come to see you guys.
I'll have to take some pictures of the new digs and send them along. No luck yet on selling the old digs, but we did have someone come see it this past week.
Well, just a short note while I'm on lunch....I'll stop back again soon! Let us know if anyone hits the lottery (I need about $500,000 to retire comfortably, just in case you need to know).

did she or didn't she?
I bought a pair of these for MigsyMom a couple years ago...
...but did she wear them today, or did she risk falling on the ice once again???
(In case you're interested, they REALLY do work. I got 'em from QVC and didn't even come close to slipping today.)
