Just got up to go into the kitchen, because I thought I heard a bird chirping in there. I discovered it was coming from near the back door, and so I peeked out. Turns out it was a little chipmunk sitting on top of my Hens & Chickens plant. Don't know what he's up to, but he's still chirping away...lol.

do always have a camera in hand? I do miss seeing chipmunks and squirrels. I hear they excist here but have not seen one yet.
Well, at home I do, yes. Though, the battery wears down so fast that I can't always use it :)
I remember when I visited Canada, their squirrels were a different color. Maybe that's the same reason you haven't seen any...you're looking for the wrong color :)
