memories

I remember going to Cape May with mom and finding Uncle George to go fishing. Every time I was on the boat I would get sick but would still go fishing every time I was asked to go since I really enjoy being on the water. One of the trips to Cape May we had our blue station wagon for a car and silly me was sitting in the far back sit with my hair flying in the wind the whole ride. By the time we made it there my hair was one big knot. Mom had to buy that stuff that they still sell to get tangles out.

I also remember driving all the way to Florida in that same station wagon. Having a great time on the race cars and space mountain in Walt Disney World, then at night going to the camp fire with the chipmunks. That was pretty cool.

I'm sure the wind blowing through your hair felt good while it was happening. Funny how good things can turn bad if overdone...lol.

Do you also remember how that same station wagon got us home after that trip but then never started ever again? I remember Dad having to stop and refill the oil every so many miles on the trip home.

Hey wait do you remember that vehicle's muffler falling off on the Delaware Memorial Bridge. That who trip was pretty fun. I also remember my lovely brother pushing me back into the lake without a paddle after we went canoeing. I'm not sure if I should think of that trip as fun or not. I guess you can call it life experiments

We're only supposed to be sharing fond memories, and I don't think that one of your brother counts...lol.

I don't remember the muffler falling off, but that would be pretty darn funny. Well, except for poor mom and dad who were in charge of getting it fixed.

Guess memories are all in the perspective of those remembering them :)

No the muffler didn't get fixed. We drove all the way home with it dragging.

god it's 8:14am here and the skys just opened up. that should make for a good ride home if it last to long.
