These are pictures of some lovely pansies Mom gave me for my birthday. I put some in pots on my back stoop, and then some along the side of the house. I'm looking forward to watching them bloom all through the winter. Will be a nice touch of spring that'll remind me of warmer weather to come.
The birthday party was really nice. We celebrated all the October birthdays together, and I have to agree with my oldest nephew's birthday card to me...we really are the coolest members of the family *smirk*

Do those flowers really last in the winter time?
He's gonna have some explaining to do!
What do I know about the flowers?...lol. I think they do last through the winter, but maybe only until it snows. I'll have to look it up.
