Mexico Again

Well I have made it back to USA without incident. We went shopping again in Mexico and I ended up with another blanket but this time it actually has a picture in the middle of it. When I first walked up to the area that I bought it, the guy came running over pointing out different things and naming prices. Little did he know I have been there before and new that the first price they say is never what you want to pay. So anyway, he started off with $32 and by the time I walked away he came down to $20 but for some reason when I gave him a $20 he gave back $5. So I guess I really got a great deal. I also bought at the same place a sun and the moon. Again it started at $30 and I only paid $15. What a deal. I really didn't need the blanket but I thought it was kind a cute. Eventually the sun and the moon will be hung out on the house by the front door.

Here is what happened at the end of the day. When you start coming back to the US you have to pay Mexico for visiting which ends up being $1.85, then you continue to the border where they ask you what citizenship you are. Hopefully you reply American. While waiting to get to the border check point you can watch what is going on in the other lanes. Well yesterday someone from Mexico decide to try to bring I am only guessing drugs into the US. They have a machine that scans your vehicle if they feel you are guilty in something they begin the search, the drug dog arrives to do his thing and if he thinks he finds something, you are immediately put in handcuffs (which is what happended yesterday). Then your vehicle is driven to the area where they start to again I am only guessing take apart your car to find whatever you have hidding. All I can say is that if you want to do illegal things you deserve to be put through everything you get.

Hope you enjoy the sun/moon pic

You knew Diesel had to be in it. He's taken his morning/afternoon nap. He sleeps so long during the day no wonder why he doesn't slip at night.

We're gonna have to change your name to Ms. Shopper. I like the sun and moon. They're gonna look really good up on your wall.

Next time you go, get a picture of one of the guards at the border crossing :)

Jimmy sleeps all day & he doesn't have trouble sleeping at night. In fact, if I don't take him to bed by 9, his little eyes get all red & puffy.
